About the hosts

Will Millard is a bestselling author, explorer and award winning broadcaster based in South Wales. A Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society, he has spent his career uncovering extraordinary stories about people, landscapes and the natural world. In Mapping Britain, Will combines his passion for history, geography and exploration to bring the remarkable Ordnance Survey archive to life, revealing how centuries of mapmaking have shaped our understanding of Britain's people, places and changing landscapes.

Paul Naylor is a Senior Geospatial Consultant at Ordnance Survey and President of the British Cartographic Society. He is passionate about developing people, strengthening the geospatial profession, and ensuring maps remain relevant, ethical, and impactful. Paul is the cartographer behind the renowned Apollo 11 Landing: Map of the Moon. With almost 30 years at Ordnance Survey, he brings a wealth of knowledge about cartography, the history of Ordnance Survey, and the evolving role of mapping in society.

Jess Baker is a Geospatial Consultant at Ordnance Survey, a volunteer with the international mapping charity GIS-E, and a Cartographic Editor for the Journal of Maps. Creating maps and illustrations for Mapping Britain, her cartographic design work is showcased throughout the publication. Initially joining Ordnance Survey through the Graduate Scheme, Jess has spent the past seven years developing her expertise and is now a key member of the GeoDataViz team, championing accessible and inclusive map design.

How do I access the Youtube Live Event?
You will be emailed 48 hours before the event with details on how to access the live event.
When will I receive my ticket?
Your email confirmation will be your ticket to the live event. No physical item will be delivered.

Delivery times

Order before 3pm weekdays for:

  • Free standard delivery in up to five working days
  • 1st Class delivery in 1-2 working days
  • Priority Express Next Day delivery on the next working day

OS Historical 1896-1904 Maps, Relief Maps and Custom Made Map orders will take one extra day for printing. Framed and canvas products are handmade and usually take 10-12 working days to dispatch. If you order on a bank holiday we'll start on your order on the next working day. Standard delivery for OS Historical 1896 - 1904 Maps and Relief Maps are sent RM 48, and Next Day Delivery will be sent out Royal Mail 24.

An estimated delivery date will be shown in checkout once you enter your address and pick a delivery option.
